Outdoor Herefordshire Wedding.
There are many locations to have an outdoor Herefordshire wedding ceremony in this beautiful county. Here are some things you might want to consider as you plan your special day.
- Choose a location: Herefordshire has many beautiful outdoor wedding venues, including gardens, vineyards, and estates. Consider what kind of scenery you want as a backdrop for your ceremony, and look for venues that offer that.
- Check the weather: As with any outdoor event, you will want to keep an eye on the weather forecast and have a backup indoor location in case the weather does not cooperate.
- Consider timing: Herefordshire can be quite warm in the summer months, so if you are planning a midday ceremony, you may want to provide shade for your guests. You may also want to consider having a late afternoon or evening ceremony when the temperatures are cooler.
- Decorations: An outdoor ceremony can be enhanced with natural decorations like flowers and greenery. Consider incorporating local wildflowers or other flora into your decor.
- Logistics: Consider the logistics of an outdoor ceremony, including seating, lighting, and sound. Make sure you have everything you need to make your guests are comfortable and ensure they can hear your vows.
Lyde Arundel Wedding.
Charlotte and Jon’s outdoor Herefordshire Wedding was held in the stunning garden at Lyde Arundel. Lyde Arundel is a gorgeous little venue with beautiful barns and even more beautiful grounds. The gardens are a great location for your ceremony and overlook the lake as well as the city of Hereford too. See the link at the bottom of the page for the Lyde Arundel website.
Charlotte and Jon had an amazing day, surrounded by family and friends on a warm and sometimes sunny June day in 2022. Their day was a relaxed happy one, with lots of smiles and laughter.
Charlotte got ready at her parents home with all of the girls who made sure that Charlotte was well looked after and relaxed throughout the morning. Jon got ready at a different location and arrived at the venue with the guys, all looking great in black tie suits.
Outdoor Herefordshire Wedding Ceremony
Charlotte arrived, along with Dad and the Bridesmaids, all looking amazing and so happy to be there to help Charlotte and Jon celebrate. Charlotte and Jon’s dog was there too and obviously received lots of attention, as well as free food.
After the ceremony, it was time to relax and just enjoy the celebrations. Guests and the couple made the most of the warm weather, enjoying the gardens and having a great time together.
It was now time for everyone to make their way into the barn for some food and the speeches. After the food and speeches, guests mingled hills having a few more drinks and waiting for the party to start in the evening.
I had a great time covering Charlotte and Jon’s wedding, and having worked with the majority of the bridesmaids at previous weddings. I knew from the start it was going to be a fun day.
