Lyde Court wedding photography. Lyde Court is a very rustic barn in North Herefordshire with open fields to either side. It is an ideal venue if you wan that laid back feel to your wedding. Within the grounds to the front is a floral garden area which offers great light in the evening. There is room for bridal preparation in the main house which is called the white room. There are also dorms for guests to stay overnight which can also be used for the groom to get ready on the morning of your wedding.
The Wedding
When I met Nathan & Emily to discuss their Lyde Court wedding I knew that they didn’t like anything too traditional. Emily had chosen her dress due to it being a light less traditional one. She also wore a flower crown, boho style. Nathan wore a tailored jacket and waistcoat with black skinny jeans. They had both stressed that the wedding was going to be about them plus their family and friends enjoying the day.
The whole day was quite a laid back one with guests chilling whilst trying not to cook in the unbelievable heat. This was probably the hottest weekend of the year so far. The cool barn of Lyde Court come in very handy for a lot of the guests. During the day the amazing Hey Yahs (my favourite wedding band) played some relaxed tunes. Nathan and Emily’s two boys of course were a big part of their day in and you could see they were such a close family. Nathan even proposed with the help of their son after a day out at Winter Wonderland, which was a nice touch.
