The Venue,
The Davenport House Wedding Venue is an exceptional location for your wedding. This lovingly restored, Grade 1 listed Georgian country house, set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside is just stunning. Original authentic features and steeped in history, it’s the perfect venue for your luxury wedding.
The Couple,
Bethany and Tomos were so lovely to work with, as were their guests too. You could sense how much this couple were loved by their family and friends just from the expressions on everyone’s faces as they helped them celebrate.
The Bridal Prep,
Bethany had her bridal prep in one of the cottages in the grounds of Davenport House. She spent the morning with the girls and Mum whilst having hair and make up done by Tabitha and Nicola. The girls then made their way to the main house to get into the dress and veil.
It was a relaxed morning for all with a few glasses of fizz and lot’s of smiles and laughter and a few tears when Bethany’s parents saw her in her dress and her beautiful flowers by Issy and Bella.
The Wedding Ceremony,
They had their ceremony at St Peters Church which is a stones throw from Davenport House. Beautiful lit with a scattering of candles, Bethany and Tomos said their vows with constant smiles and little looks at each other.
A huge confetti line followed which everyone enjoyed, even though they were all frozen in the December cold.
Davenport House Wedding Reception,
Back to the house for their reception, a few drinks, canapés and then onto the speeches. Bethany and Tomos wanted their speeches lit by candlelight, so retain this look, no flash was used and the ambience was captured, along with a few tears.
In the evening, there was the cake cutting and first dance which were followed by lots of partying and singing along to the band, The Stereo Soldiers who were fantastic.
To cap the brilliant night off, we went outside for a few more photos including the champagne shot seen below.
