Hampton Court Castle Bride and Groom

Hampton Court Castle Wedding

Like most couples from this years weddings, Megan and Joe had postponed their Hampton Court Castle Wedding from 2020. Luckily for me, I was able to make their amended date to capture their awesome wedding story.

Hampton Court Castle Wedding Venue is one of those venues that as soon as you see it, you will fall in love with it. As you drive along the beautiful entrance you are greeted by the view that most people dream of for their wedding day. Situated in the beautiful North of Herefordshire, this stunning wedding venue attracts couples from all over the world with its beautiful grounds and the history within its walls.

Everything is perfect for your wedding day, especially from a photography point of view. With the Bridal suite room having the most amazing light and taking pride of place overlooking the idyllic grounds to the front of the castle. From the corridors decorated with historical artifacts to the gardens that look absolutely stunning any time of year.

Megan and Joe’s Hampton Court Castle Wedding

Bridal prep was a blast with these girls, loads of fun and reminiscing whilst being pampered by Tabitha and Sasha for their hair and make up. Megan and the girls were chilled and enjoying the morning with a few glasses of bubbly to go.

Groom prep at Hampton Court Castle Wedding venue

Joe and the guys did their best to keep up with the girls. A few beers, plenty of chat and just having a good time whilst getting themselves ready. Groom prep is just as important as bridal prep and something that looks great in your wedding gallery. After all, Bridal prep and Groom prep are two parts of the day the your partners wouldn’t normally get to see.

First Look

Megan was helped into her dress by Mum so the first look this time was not only for Dad but Megan’s Bridesmaids too. Loads of approving gasps and plenty of tears too as they entered the room.

The Ceremony

Megan and Joe’s ceremony was held in the Historic Castle Chapel. This beautiful room with tonnes of light is just amazing and can fit up to 120 guests. You could see how happy everyone was for them to finally be able to say “I do”

Time for a Celebration!

From this point on it was a great celebration with family and friends enjoying the superb atmosphere. A huge confetti line to start with then drinks and canapés whilst the super talented Jemima phillips Harpist played the tunes. I recommend that you check Jemima out for your wedding day.

Speeches!

Everyone made their way inside for the speeches and wedding breakfast. The speeches were funny and emotional too, the best kind. The reception room at Hampton Court is another stunning room and fit for the luxury wedding you hoped for.

Portraits in the Gardens.

As I have said previously, the gardens at Hampton Court are beautiful. This particular wedding was in early September with plenty of greenery around and few signs of an incoming Autumn too.

Time to party!

Cake cutting then straight into the first dance whilst Wild Card played the tunes. The first dance ended up with Megan and Joe’s recent arrival joining in. You could tell this was the first time that the guests had partied together since before Covid, everyone certainly made up for it and hadn’t forgotten how to party.

Closing shots

A creative portrait was a must a the beautiful Hampton Court Wedding Venue. It was such a pleasure to cover your wedding for you Megan and Joe, thanks so much for having me as your photographer.
